Terms of Use
Last updated 24 October 2026.
These terms apply when you visit or play on InternetArcade.tv (“the site”), which is run by Joe Murfin (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.
1. The service
The site lets visitors take turns controlling a single, shared game that is shown live on the site and on our YouTube channel. It’s a free, experimental fan project. We may change, pause or stop it, reset the game, or change these terms at any time. If we change the terms we’ll update the date above.
2. Taking part
- You don’t need an account. You choose a player name when you join the queue.
- You must follow our rules. We decide who can play and may remove or block anyone, end turns, or reset names at our discretion.
- If you’re under 13, please only use the site with a parent or guardian’s permission.
3. Your gameplay is public
When you play, your player name, your inputs and everything that happens in the game are shown publicly on the site and broadcast on YouTube, and may be recorded, replayed, clipped or summarised (for example in “The Adventure So Far”). You give us a free, worldwide, ongoing permission to show, record and share that gameplay and your player name in connection with the site and its channels. Don’t use your real name or anything personal as your player name.
4. Acceptable use
Don’t use the site to break the law, harass people, or post offensive names; don’t automate inputs or use bots; and don’t attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to the site, the stream or our servers.
5. Intellectual property
InternetArcade.tv is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures Inc. or The Pokémon Company. The game, its characters and related names are the property of their respective owners. The site’s own design, code, branding and music belong to us.
6. No guarantees
The site is provided “as is”. We don’t promise it will always be available, that your turn will happen, or that the game will progress in any particular way. Saves can be lost, the stream can go down and things can break.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
8. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction.
